| To foster cultural diversity and academic excellence, the Information and Communication Technology University (ICT-U) invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the ICT and Computer Sciences Department. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and academic supervision. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in relevant disciplines, practical industry experience and a strong teaching portfolio. |
| Key Responsibilities |
| •Delivering courses in Software Engineering (SE), Systems and Network Engineering (SEN), System Administration and Maintenance (SAM), Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Machine Learning (AI & ML), and Computer Science.
•Supervising student projects, theses, and dissertations. •Engaging in academic research, publishing, and professional development. •Contributing to the department’s administration and academic initiatives. •Teaching both onsite and online as required. |
| Qualifications and Requirements |
| •A Ph.D. in Information Systems (IS), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering (SE), Information Technology (IT), or related fields.
•Proven hands-on experience in pedagogy and the industry. •Evidence of professional certifications and industrial experience is an added advantage. •Proficiency in English (oral and written). |
Terms of Employment |
| Contract Duration: The initial contract is two years, renewable based on performance.
Monthly Salary: $1,000 – $2,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits: · Health insurance coverage. · Furnished accommodation or a housing allowance. · Annual leave of 30 days with full pay. |
