The Prime Minister Head of Government, Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute has received in audience the President of the Board of Trustees of the ICT University, Cameroonian born, Professor Victor Mbarika. In the course of the high profile meeting, the President of the ICT University with a student population of about 15, 000 globally announced scholarships for young Cameroonians.
The visiting intellectual revealed that the ICT University will offer 10 PhD scholarships to Cameroonians under 35 of age and 10 Masters programme to persons under 30 years. The renowned university will offer two virtual libraries to two state universities with equipment worth 250000 Dollars, some FCFA 130 millions. The PM on his part thanked the professor for this special gesture and promised to alert the Head of State.
Professor Victor Mbarika was accompanied to the Star Building by Crtv’s Charles Ebune, ICT University’s Special Ambassador.
