Sanjay Misra est professeur titulaire d’ingénierie informatique à l’Université Covenant d’Ota, au Nigéria. Il possède 25 ans d’expérience dans l’administration académique et la recherche dans diverses universités d’Asie, d’Europe et d’Afrique. Il est docteur en information et sait. Engg (Génie logiciel) de l’Université d’Alcala, espagne, et M.Tech.(Génie logiciel) du Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Inde. Il est l’auteur/coauteur dans environ 300 articles – (avec des collègues de près de 30 pays) la majorité des publications sont dans ISI Web of Sciences et a obtenu plusieurs prix pour des publications exceptionnelles telles que l’Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Royaume-Uni lui a décerné « 2014 IET Software Premium Award » pour le meilleur article publié au cours des deux dernières années. Il est le chercheur le plus productif (n° 1) de toute l’analyse du Nigeria (SciVal-Scopus(Elsevier) en 2012-2017.

Il a prononcé 41 discours en plénière et en ouverture (conférences parrainées par l’IEEE, Springer, Elsevier) et 40 conférences invitées (ateliers/séminaires/conférences) dans diverses universités et institutions à travers le monde (environ 60 pays). Il est rédacteur en chef de la série de livres sur les progrès en matière de personnel informatique et de gestion de projet (IGI Global), auteur d’un livre et éditeur (l’un des) dans 36 notes de conférence en informatique (Springer), 7 actes de conférence de l’IEEE. Il a été président général de la Conférence internationale sur l’informatique, le réseautage et l’informatique (ICCNI 2017) et 6e IEEE ICAST : 2014 et président fondateur de 3 ateliers internationaux annuels : Software Engineering Process and Applications (SEPA), Springer (2009-continue), Tools and Techniques in Software Development Process, IEEE (2009-continuer), Software Quality, IEEE (2009), LNCS (2011-continuer) et Software Metrics and Measurement, IEEE (2009). Actuellement, il est rédacteur en chef de l’International Journal of Physical Sciences (SCOPUS Indexed), fondateur du Covenant Journal of ICT et de l’International Journal of Computer Science and Software Technology, et a également été rédacteur en chef, rédacteur associé et membre du comité de rédaction de plus de 20 revues (dont 3 SCIE) de renommée internationale.

Il est ingénieur logiciel et a précédemment occupé des postes universitaires à FUT Minna – Nigeria (en tant que chef du département d’ingénierie informatique et chef du département de cybersécurité), Atilim University – Turquie, Subharati University et UP Technical University – Inde. Il est également professeur invité/collaboratif à l’Université d’Alcala – Espagne (depuis 2011 -), UCV- Valparaiso – Chili (depuis 2013 -), UNICEN, Tandil – Argentine (depuis 2011 -), et Atilim University – Turquie (depuis 2011-).

Ses recherches actuelles couvrent les domaines de l’assurance de la qualité des logiciels, de l’amélioration des processus logiciels, de la gestion de projets logiciels, des technologies orientées objet, de XML, soa, des services Web, de l’informatique cognitive, de l’intelligence artificielle, du réseau neuronal, de l’informatique de la santé, de l’apprentissage en ligne, de l’informatique en nuage et de la cybersécurité. Le Professeur Sanjay coordonne/travaille/collabore avec plusieurs groupes de recherche (en tant que professeur/chercheur collaboratif invité/adjoint) dans diverses universités et industrie à travers le monde (Espagne, Argentine, Turquie, Singapour, Chili, Brésil, Mexique, Norvège, France, Afrique du Sud, Malaisie, Nigeria, Myanmar, Vietnam, Inde).

Sanjay Misra is a Full Professor of Computer Engineering at Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria. He has 25 years of wide experience in academic administration and researches in various universities in Asia, Europe, and Africa. He is Ph.d. in Information and Knows. Engg (Software Engineering) from the University of Alcala, Spain, and M.Tech.(Software Engineering) from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, India. He has author/coauthor in around 300 papers- (with colleagues from nearly 30 countries) majority the publications are in ISI Web of Sciences and got several awards for outstanding publications e.g. Institute of Engineering and Technology(IET), United Kingdom awarded him ‘2014 IET Software Premium Award’ for Best Paper published in last two years. He is the most productive researcher (No 1) in the whole of Nigeria (SciVal-Scopus(Elsevier) analysis) during 2012-2017.

He has delivered 41 plenary and keynote speeches (IEEE, Springer, Elsevier sponsored conferences) and 40 invited talks (workshops/seminars/lectures) in various universities and institutions around the world (traveled around 60 Countries). He is editor in chief of the book series on Advances in IT Personals and Project management (IGI Global), author of 1 book and editor (one of) in 36 Lecture Notes in Computer Science (Springer), 7 IEEE conference proceedings. He was the General Chair of (IEEE) International Conference on Computing, Networking and Informatics (ICCNI 2017) and 6th IEEE ICAST: 2014 and founder chair of 3 annual international workshops: Software Engineering Process and Applications (SEPA), Springer (2009-continue), Tools and Techniques in Software Development Process, IEEE (2009-continue), Software Quality, IEEE (2009), LNCS (2011-continue) and Software Metrics and Measurement, IEEE (2009). Presently, he is Editor in chief editor of International Journal of Physical Sciences(SCOPUS Indexed), founder EIC of Covenant Journal of ICT and International Journal of Computer Science and Software Technology, and also serving as editor, associates editor and editorial board members of more than 20 journals (Including 3 SCIE) of international repute.

He is a software engineer and previously held academic positions at FUT Minna – Nigeria (as Head Department of Computer Engineering and Head- Department of Cyber Security), Atilim University – Turkey, Subharati University and UP Technical University – India. He is also visiting/Collaborative professor at the University of Alcala – Spain(since 2011-), UCV- Valparaiso – Chile(since 2013-), UNICEN, Tandil – Argentina(since 2011-), and Atilim University – Turkey(since 2011-).

His current researches cover the areas of software quality assurance, software process improvement, software project management, object-oriented technologies, XML, SOA, Web services, cognitive informatics, artificial intelligence, neural network, health Informatics, e-learning, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. Prof Sanjay is coordinating/working/collaborating with several research groups (as visiting/adjunct professor/collaborative researcher) in various universities and industry around the world (Spain, Argentina, Turkey, Singapore, Chili, Brazil, Mexico, Norway, France, South Africa, Malaysia, Nigeria, Myanmar, Vietnam, India).
