Dr Molla He has previously been a Lecturer at the University of Manchester, UK and The Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Prior to that he lectured at the Addis Ababa Commercial Collage and worked in the Ethiopian Telecommunications Authority. He has also consulted to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and The International Development Research Center (IDRC).

He specializes in Information Systems with concentration on E-commerce. His main research areas are Green Information Technology, E-Business, Enterprise Systems and Development Informatics. His publications appeared in top-tier information systems (European Journal of Information Systems, Information & Management and The Information Society), e-business (The International Journal of E-commerce, Journal of E-commerce Research, Journal of Electronic Commerce in Organizations) and development informatics (Internet Research, IT and International Development, IT for Development) journals. His works have been cited more than 600 times (Harzing’s Publish or Perish).
